For over 50 years, the Town of Dummerston, VT has hosted the Apple Pie Festival. They spend close to two weeks
baking 1200 plus apple pies for the event.
They setup a tent beside the church with slices of apple pie, homemade ice cream, fresh donuts, hot cider and Grafton Village cheddar cheese.
As the tables of pie slices start to deplete, another table loaded with slices of apple pie emerges from the church basement.
In front of the church, you can purchase whole pies and blocks of the Grafton Village cheddar cheese to take home.
This is a great Fall event. Not to be missed.
