May 23, 2026 Saturday Dave Comeau’s Memorial Drive R.S.V.P. by May 20, 2026
May 23 @ 12:30 pm - 7:30 pm
You can meet us at the restaurant if you do not want to join us on the drive. Just let me know when you sign up.
14 cars & 23 people signed up. Ended up with 11 cars & 19 people.
Everyone brought their yellow roses. Some reflected on Dave’s dry humor.
Bob & Terri Lannin sent me an email and wanted me to share thoughts for them. I read this at the grave site:
The MMC and the world was a better place with Helen and Dave in it. They will be remembered for their friendliness and kindness while sharing our loved Miata’s, top down and wind in our faces.
May 23rd Dave Comeau’s Memorial Drive
Meet at: Bolton Orchards
Drivers Meeting at: 1:00 P.M.
Departure Time at: 1:15 P.M.
We will drive around 1 1/4 hours to Tougas Farm for a pit stop. Spend 1/2 Hour or more
Depart Tougas Farm and drive around 45 minutes to Hillside Cemetary. Spend 1/2 Hour or more
Depart Hillside Cemetary and drive around 20 minutes to the Barn Princeton.
It would be nice if everyone could bring a yellow rose to be placed at the grave site. (Yellow Rose is for Friendship)
We will say a prayer and say our goodbyes to Dave.
I have made dinner reservation for 5:00 P.M. for 30 people at The Barn Princeton. They will only allow 30 people, otherwise it would be considered an event. An event would have a food minimum and they would charge a room fee.
We can order off of the full menu and they will do separate checks per person, but you must sit together.
To sign up send Brenda bgauvin@charter.net an email before May 20, 2026 so I can give the restaurant an accurate head count.
Give me your cell # if you will have a passenger and there name, do you have a CB radio, are you a new member and would you be willing to help with being a tail for us and a lead or tail for a second group.
Driving Time: 2 1/2 Hours
Pit Stop & Cemetary: 1 Hour or more out of the seat of the car.
Miles: 60.9
“By signing up for this trip, you agree to comply with the Club By-Laws and policies that include personal health safety and safe driving.”
Some pictures Bob Lannin sent to me.
