Join us on a fun gimmick rally exploring Cape Cod on May 2, 2026. We’ve created it for the Mass Miata Club (and members’ friends and friends of friends) 

This is a gimmick rally, not a speed or “TSD” (time-speed distance) event. Participants’ scores will be based on the answer sheets they submit as they finish the rally

Cost: $25.00 per vehicle (driver and navigator) cut to only $20.00 if you register before April 25th. Fees pay for first, second and third place trophies and free pizza at Bad Martha’s

The rally covers 70 miles and takes 2.5 to 3.5 hours to complete (unless you get lost)

We’ll gather beforehand at the Coonamessett Inn in Falmouth, https://www.larkhotels.com/hotels/the-coonamessett. The rally wraps up at Bad Martha’s in Falmouth,  https://www.badmarthabeer.com/  (We may adjust starting and ending locations depending on the number of sign-ups we have by the 25th of April) 

On 2 May, at 9:30 A.M., in the parking lot, we’ll: 

Collect payments

Hand out rally instructions and answer sheets 

Go over how the rally works 

The instructions will address when to turn, and so forth. And provide questions to answer, such as “how many farm implements (such as tractors) did you see in the last half mile?” 

We’ll release the first participant 10:00 A.M and one more every 30 seconds until all players are on the course

Each car should have a driver and a navigator (no discount for having no navigator)

GPS use is allowed!

Violating motor vehicle laws or regulations (for example, by speeding) will disqualify offenders.

Hand in your completed answer sheet at the end of the rally.

We will invite other car clubs (e.g., Morgan, Porsche and Lotus) to fill out the list of participants but Miata owners have first shot at slots.

We’re limiting this event to 50 cars total, so register early! (We need at least 10 car club members to sign up.)
