New Hampshire Foliage Tour 2024
October 6, 2024
Please join us for a foliage tour through southern New Hampshire. We will meet at the Walmart in Lunenburg MA at 8:45 A.M. for a 9:15 A.M. departure. From there we will take an extended scenic drive northwards towards Hillsborough NH.
After a rest stop, we head back southwards along the twisty roads, towards our lunch destination: Waterhouse Restaurant in Peterborough, NH, featuring patio dining alongside the Nubanusit River. After lunch, we will make the short drive to nearby Miller State Park. We will take the winding autoroute up the summit of Pack Monadnock in first gear. The mountain affords spectacular vistas of the surrounding countryside, as far away as Boston on a clear day. We finish with ice cream at the peak.
Start: Walmart Lunenburg MA 8:45 A.M. for 9:15 A.M. departure
Pit Stop: Shaws Hillsborough ~11:00 A.M. -11:15 A.M.
Lunch: Waterhouse Restaurant 12:30 P.M.
Destination: Pack Monadnock 14:00 P.M.
Finish: 15:00 P.M.
