Fall Foliage Quabbin Reservoir Driving Tour by Bus
Quabbin Reservoir is one of the largest unfiltered water supplies in the United States. Along with the Wachusett Reservoir and Ware River, it is the source of high quality water for the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority water supply system. The 412 billion gallon reservoir covers 39 square miles with 181 miles of shoreline. Recreational activities are regulated and limited to protect 3 million people’s drinking water.
Meet: 8:45 A.M. Spot Twin City Plaza (parking lot across from Burger King) 140 Whalon Street Fitchburg, MA 01420
9:00 A.M. Depart Plaza
10/10:15 A.M. Arrive at Salem Cross Inn 260 West Main Street West Boylston, MA 01585
10:30 A.M. Depart for a one hour driving tour of Quabbin Reservoir with Step on Guide
Step on Guide gratuity is included in the price
12:15 A.M. Lunch at Salem Cross Inn
Lunch entree: choose Chicken Pie OR Baked Haddock
Entrees served with vegetable, potato, homemade roles & muffins, tea/coffee and dessert
2:00 P.M. Depart the inn
2:45 P.M. Arrive at Atkins Farms Country Market 1151 West Street Amherst, MA 01002
Receive two Apple Cider Donuts per person to take home.
You will have time to shop
4:00 P.M. depart the market
5:15 P.M. return to Twin City Plaza
