Essex River Cruise June 24, 2018 Cruise is now available for booking
We will meet at 8:30 A.M. at the Beverly rest stop on RT. 128 northbound, just past Exit 19. Be ready to roll, TFBE (tanks full, bladders empty), by 8:50. We will proceed through some nice scenery to Essex, where we’ll take a 10:30 Coffee and Muffin Cruise from Essex River Cruises:
“Sit back and relax as we cruise the pristine sheltered waters of the Essex River. Glide back in time, past islands, dunes and beaches formed by glaciers. See rare birds, wildlife and stunning scenery. Watch lobstering, fishing, clamming, and river activities. Learn about historic mansions, shipyards, salt marsh farms and native character.”
Following the cruise we’ll have lunch at Woodman’s in Essex. Woodman’s doesn’t take reservations but they’ve got plenty of room, indoors and out, just plan to spend about 15-20 minutes waiting to order at the counter. Credit cards are accepted.
Reservations at the boat company open two weeks ahead of the cruise, so remember to call on or close to June 10th. You may make reservations by phone, (978-768-6981) or on line at http://www.essexcruises.com The cost is $30.00 per person.
