Miata Tours in Europe

You may have heard of the Miata tours that originate in Italy and that a group of UMN members are doing the Umbria and Tuscany tour this Spring. My wife and I are doing the Rome to Porto trip on May 19th and are looking for other Miata enthusiasts to join the trip. I talked the company into adding a night in Pamplona that was not on the route which I think will make it a more interesting and varied tour. Some that looked at this tour at an earlier date may have dismissed it as too short for the number of kilometers but with the added stop it may rekindle some interest. 

** I spoke with Paul Hoba of UMN of the Canadian Miata Club yesterday and signed up for the Rome to Porto Blue Strata Tour of May 19th-26th 2026.
Pam and I have traveled in Italy Spain and Portugal previously but touring there in a Miata with a small group of 9 is definitely a bucket list adventure for us. If you think this is something you would like to do, there are a couple of slots still open. The tour operator supplies the cars from his notable collection and also an experienced leader and sweep. We feel the price is reasonable, airfare is not included so perhaps you can use your air miles to book the flights and possibly extend the vacation by arriving early or staying on in Europe after the tour.
