DESCRIPTION:Spring Fling 2026 \nHad 22 cars\, 40 people\, 6 new members\, 1 not a member\nPlease join us for a scenic back roads drive through Massachusetts and New Hampshire for  \nsome of the best barbecue north of the Mason-Dixon at Smokehaus in Amherst NH. We will  \nmeet at the Burton’s Bar & Grill in Westford at 8:30 A.M. for a 9:00 A.M. departure. The journey will take  \nus through the twisty roads of Groton and Dunstable\, then over the line into New Hampshire.  \nAfter driving through Hollis and Brookline\, we will arrive around 10:15 at the Moulton Market in  \nthe picturesque village of Amherst NH\, where we will stop for a coffee and a tour around the  \ntown green. From there it is an hour’s drive through the hills of Mont Vernon and New Boston.  \nOur lunch destination is Smokehaus BBQ\, a casual venue with a variety of sandwiches\, brisket\,  \nand ribs\, all slow cooked to perfection. \n \nDate: Saturday 11 April 2026\nTime: Marshall 8:30 for a 9:00 departure\nStart: Burton’s Bar & Grill \nCoffee break: Moulton Market ~ 10:15 \nLunch:  Smokehaus BBQ 12:00\nCost: $20-30 per person for lunch\nFinish: 13:00\nItinerary: Google / GPX / TomTom (73 miles / 141 minutes) \n(There is an optional shortcut that reduces the trip to 48 miles / 90 minutes) \nTrip is limited to 12 Miatas. \nTo sign up\, please fill out this form.

Please send to John via email kmd32174@gmail.com.\n  \n \nMary Lyn (Sherwood) Weinberg\, 78\, of Marlborough\, died Wednesday\, February 11\, 2026.\nShe was the daughter of the late Laurence and Mary Louise (Sauer) Sherwood and wife of the late Jonathan Weinberg.\nMary is survived by her siblings\, Larry Sherwood\, Susan Sherwood\, John Sherwood and David Sherwood.\nLyn was proud of her beautiful\, historic home in Marlborough\, that she purchased when it was in terrible disrepair and renovated. Lyn’s ‘pups’\, Libby\, Leyla and Lily\, were the love of her life. \nLyn was an active member of the Quaker Meeting House and gave of her time\, talents and energy to maintaining their property.\nLyn was proud of being the first female police officer in Marlborough.\nLyn and Lily enjoyed walking with the Northborough Senior group.\nLyn enjoyed participating in events with the Mass Miata Club.\nLyn enjoyed playing her bass and being in a band with Jon.\nLyn enjoyed singing bass in a women’s barbershop chorus\, Women of Note.\nLyn enjoyed scuba diving trips with Jon.\nLyn’s memorial services will be at Framingham Meeting House 841 Edmands Rd. Framingham Ma. 01701\nStarts at 10:00 A.M.\nWould like to see a lot of members drive their Miata’s and attend the memorial.
