If you know you are not going to be able to attend before they call\, please call them to let them know so they can contact someone on the wait list.\nFriday – Sunday\n3 Days\, 2 Nights\nDay 1 – Friday\, December 5\, 2025\nThe White Mountains of New Hampshire are a winter wonderland during Christmastime\, with snow-capped peaks\, holiday decorations\, and festive events. Today we will travel to North Conway\, part of New Hampshire’s scenic Mount Washington Valley\, and celebrate the magic of Christmas at the beautiful White Mountain Hotel & Resort. We’ll make a stop at Muddy Moose Restaurant\, where you can order lunch on your own off their wilderness-themed American menu in a low-key lodge like setting with a fireplace & a warm bar.\nAfter\, you’ll have the opportunity to experience the magic of Christmas at Nestlenook Farm\, where you will escape back in time to an elegant era of horse drawn carriages. You’ll go for an enchanting sleigh ride aboard one of their custom Austrian Sleighs\, traveling through their 65-acre estate along the river and through the woods\, then across a 70-foot arched bridge over Emerald Lake below. After your ride\, warm up in their fully enclosed warming center and sip hot chocolate by the fire or roast marshmallows on one of their many outdoor fire-pits!\nFrom here\, we’ll travel a short distance and be greeted at the White Mountain Hotel & Resort\, in North Conway\, NH. The hotel features one of the most spectacular mountain settings to be found anywhere in New England! Enjoy outstanding facilities\, including the award-winning Ledges Restaurant\, Tullamore Tavern\, health club\, game room\, and a year-round outdoor heated pool and jacuzzi. Upon arrival\, enjoy a Yuletide Welcome Reception with punch in the Tullamore Tavern. After dinner\, adjourn to their grand Echo Ballroom and enjoy this evening’s entertainment. Then we will adventure out this morning for a guided sightseeing tour of the Southern Mt. Washington Valley. Here we’ll travel through quaint villages such as Madison\, Silver Lake\, Center Sandwich and Mt. Chocorua. Afterwards\, we’ll have time to shop at the Tramway Artisans Center in West Ossipee\, with over 70\,000 gifts and crafts available. After the tour you will return to the hotel for a wonderful lunch in Ledges Restaurant. After lunch enjoy a show in the Echo Ballroom. This evening you will enjoy another dinner included in Ledges\, followed by the grand finale Christmas Show! Meals Included: Breakfast\, Lunch & Dinner.\nDay 3 – Sunday\, December 7\, 2025\nThis morning\, enjoy your breakfast in Ledges Restaurant before checking out of the resort. We’ll continue our winter wonderland experience aboard the Mount Washington Cog Railway for a 1-hour train ride to Waumbek Station. Located in an alpine meadow below tree line at roughly 4000’\, with clear conditions you’ll have spectacular panoramic vistas from the southern New Hampshire all the way to the Canadian border. Once you arrive at Waumbek Station\, you’ll have the opportunity to leave the train for roughly 25-minutes to enjoy their elevated viewing decks\, complimentary hot refreshments\, warming huts and a blazing fire pit.\nAfter we’ll make a stop in North Woodstock\, where you can find a spot to relax and enjoy lunch on your own. Although North Woodstock doesn’t have shopping malls\, it does have a charming downtown; take a walk down Main Street and explore small shops and restaurants with lots of local flair and flavor. DESCRIPTION:This was an organized trip by the Wilson Bus Co. that I posted to the clubs calendar. \nHad 17 People\n \nI was surprised and very happy to have 17 Mass Miata friends joining Bob & Me on my birthday weekend.\nMuddy Moose Restaurant & Pub was our Friday’s lunch stop. Food\, service was very good.\n \nFriday we stopped at Nestlenook Farms for a sleigh ride and hot chocolate.\n \n \n \nWe stayed at the beautiful White Mountain Hotel & Resort in North Conway. All of the food was delicious.\n \nFoyer at the White Mountain Hotel & Resort\n \n \n\nBeautiful tree made out of Poinsettias at the entrance to the restaurant.\n\n \nFriday night entertainment with Marlena Phillips singing Santa Baby. She has a fantastic voice and really knows how to play the key board.\n \n \nSaturday afternoon entertainment was Joey Vincent\nNo matter what your taste in entertainment\, the Joey Vincent Show has something for everyone. More than just music\, more than just comedy\, his show is fresh and original! Fast-paced humor\, rapid-fire costume change impressions\, and a musical tribute to the trumpet greats and just part of the fun. From Harry James to James Brown\, Stevie Wonder to Willie Nelson\, Louis Armstrong to Luciano Pavarotti\, Joey Vincent will take you on a musical journey from the 30’s to today!\n \nSaturday night entertainment was Singing State Trooper Dan Clark.\nDaniel has been performing ever since he was a young boy. Introduced to stage performances by his parents at 5 years old he began a journey to develop into the great entertainer he is today. Owing his style to not only years of training but learning from those great performers who created the world of entertainment\, performance\, and music.\n\nDan & Allen Chin singing Auld Lang Syne\n \nSunday on the way home we stopped at the Cog Railroad.\nThe Mount Washington Cog Railway\, also known as the Cog\, is the world’s first mountain-climbing cog railway. The railway climbs Mount Washington in New Hampshire\, United States. It uses a Marsh rack system and both steam and biodiesel-powered locomotives to carry tourists to the top of the mountain.\n \nSkiers braving the elements of Mount Washington.\nIt was -55 degrees at the summit on December 7\, 2025\n \n Waumbek Station is located at an elevation of 4\,000 feet and is a winter destination for the Mount Washington Cog Railway. It is a mid-point on the railway’s route\, offering panoramic views and amenities like hot beverages and a fire pit during the winter months. \n \n \n \nTrain seats have been flipped for the ride back down the mountain.\n \nOur lunch stop was in North Woodstock\, N.H.\nWe had three restaurants to choose from.\nMerland’s Tap & Table (recommended)\nPemi Publick House (very good)\nWoodstock Inn Brewery (very Good)\nA car ran a stop sign and George had to slam on the brakes.\nThanks to George our bus driver for being in control of the bus and for the bus having good brakes.  \nOur bus hostess was Barbara (George’s wife). She was very friendly\, pleasant and provided us with information along the routes.
