Lunch is tentatively planned for one of the Mass Miata’s favorite restaurants\, The Long Trail Brewery and Brew Pub\, in West Bridgewater\, VT on the banks of the Ottauquechee River. \n \n  \n  \n  \nOur lodging for the evening is at the Quality Inn at Quechee Gorge\, 5817 Woodstock Rd.\, Quechee\, VT  \n \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \nWe have a block of 10 double bedrooms\, that will be held until April 2\, 2020. The cost is $106.25 plus 10% taxes for a final cost of $116.88 for the night. We will then take some scenic roads through the mid-Cape area to a waterfront lunch stop.  In the afternoon\, we will drive our favorite twisty\, scenic roads on the outer-Cape area to Provincetown. \nTuesday night we will stay at a nice Inn in Provincetown. Folks will be on their own to have dinner and walk around Provincetown as they wish. \nWednesday morning after a continental breakfast at our Inn\, we will drive into Provincetown and park. We will then join Art’s Dune Tours for a guided ride through the Provincetown Dunes. After the dune tour\, we will have a group lunch. \nThe trip ends after the group lunch. SUMMARY:Mass Miata Annual Meeting "Zoom Warm Up"
DESCRIPTION:Due to the current COVID-19 crisis\, the Mass Miata club has been unable to gather for in-person meetings.  In order to keep in touch the club is now using Zoom for on-line meetings and a chance to socialize.  For this year’s MMC Annual Meeting\, we’ll be using an online Zoom format.  This meeting is an important meeting where we elect our club officers for the next year.  MMC Bylaws allow for the meeting to be conducted with whatever number of members attend.  The club would like to have as many members as possible attend the online meeting. \nIn order to prepare for the MMC Annual Meeting\, we will be holding a “warm up” meeting on Wednesday May 27th\, 2020 at 8:00pm.  We hope that you can attend. \nAn email with Zoom meeting information has been emailed to every active club member.  Please use the Zoom link in the email to join the online event.  If you are an active member and did not receive the email\, please contact club membership at membership@massmiata.net. \nIf you are apprehensive of new computer software\, don’t be.  Zoom is remarkably easy to use.  Here is a link to a Zoom instructional video.  https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362193-Joining-a-Meeting. \nEd Jutras will be hosting the meeting and will be admitting attendees to the meeting.  If you wish\, you need do nothing more than observe the proceedings.  If you have a question or statement\, you will have the opportunity to speak.  Orchestrating an online meeting takes additional control so that everyone is not trying to talk at once.  Ed will exercise control of who has the floor\, so that the speaker or report may be heard by all attending. \nSo in these difficult times when our Miatas sit idle\, log on Wednesday evening to have a chat with your Miata friends.  We have been holding routine Wednesday night meetings.  Most are less formal than the Annual Meeting will be\, with conversations running here there and everywhere\, an electronic picture of the Mass Miata waiting to begin a drive. \n
