The mansions will be beautifully decorated. With many Christmas Trees\, thousands of fresh flowers\, evergreens\, and Victoria era decorations. See what Christmas has like for the wealthy few during America’s gilded age. We will plan on visiting the Breakers\, and Marble House. \nAs most of our Miatas have started their long winters nap this is not a driving trip. We will meet at the Newport Visitor Center. There is free parking in the garage behind the center. An all day Trolley pass can be purchased at the center for $6.00 per person. The trolley will take us to the mansions and back to the center. We have a 2:00 lunch reservation at the Red Parrot which is a short walk along the waterfront from the visitor center. \n  \n  \nI was only able to make lunch reservations for 30 people. So\, if you are interested in joining us please let me know has soon as possible. Tickets for the mansions can be purchased in advance on line at www.Newportmassions.org or that day at the mansions. The cost to tour two mansions is $32.00 per person. \n  \nUgly Christmas Sweater \nIf you have an ugly Christmas sweater hanging in the back of your closet (and I know you do)\, or have a new one you want to show off before Christmas day\, then please ware it. At lunch we will take a quick opinion poll on the ugliest sweater. The winner\, or loser depending your opinion\, will win a small prize. DESCRIPTION:REMEMBER the Fallon\, HONOR those who Serve\, Teach our children the value of Freedom.\n\nYou are all welcome to attend and participate in the Wreaths Across America – Norton event.  The ceremony will begin at NOON\, Saturday\, December 14th at the Common Cemetery in Norton Mass.  This cemetery is directly across from St. Mary’s Church on West Main St. Norton\, MA. This ceremony will be enacted across the country simultaneously.  (California at 9AM).  As soon as the ceremony is finished\, all are invited to help lay 600+ wreaths on our veteran’s graves.  We will begin at the Common Cemetery where 220 lay\, then travel to the other two main cemeteries in town:  Center Cemetery on Pine Street and the Timothy Plain on Plain Street.\n\nParking will be available for the ceremony in St. Mary’s Church parking lot.\n\nWe still need approximately 50 wreaths\, so if any of you wish to donate the website is as follows: www.WreathsAcrossAmerica.org/MA0108\n\nThank you all for considering this.\n\nHumbly\,\n\nPat Tarantino\, Chairperson Wreaths Across America – Norton
