It will be a scenic trip on rural and lake shore roads. \nFor the Sea Monster part of the trip we will be taking a ferry ride to see if we can make a sighting of \n \n  \nChampy the legendary Sea Monster of Lake Champlain. \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \nFor our space alien part of the trip we will be visiting The Star Trek original series set Tour. This is your chance to come on board the Starship Enterprise. You too can sit in Captain Kirks chair on the bridge of the Enterprise. DESCRIPTION:  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \nJoin us for our third annual Moonlight Ride. \nWe will start from the Seabrook Rest Area on 1-95 northbound just over the NH border. Drivers meeting at 3:15 P.M. for a 3:30 P.M. Departure time. \nWe will cruise the NH seacoast as the sun goes down. Beautiful scenery for A leisurely cruise as long as the sea smoke does not roll in like last year. \nWe will dine at Newick’s Lobster House at Dover Point at the entrance to Great Bay. Always great food and easy parking. \n \n  \n  \nwww.newicks.com \n  \nAfter dinner we will continue our cruise around Great Bay in the dark on some very twisty local roads. This will create many challenges to keep the group from getting lost in the darkness even though there should be a full moon. Don’t spend too much time looking at the bats or the deer will get you. \n \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \nIf you enjoy challenges\, come join us. We will end up at a very nice iconic ice cream stand in Amesbury\, MA around 8:30 P.M. for more ice cream than you can possibly eat. \nPlease let Judy & I know that you are coming by Sunday September 16th\, 2018. No limit to the number of cars. The more cars\, the more to lose in the dark!!!. RSVP by September 23 to Richard or Jeanne Canale\, richard.jeanne@rcn.com (781) 861-0287 \n  \nTrip through THE Battle Road Scenic Byway – Concord and Lexington featuring drivebys or stops of April 19\, 1775 sites\, Literary movement sites\, Transcendentalist/Environmental sites.  \n50 miles \nTravel through twisty scenic roads of Westford\, Carlisle\, Acton\, and Concord (passing by Barrett Farm: the British destination on April 19\, 1775\, where we pick up THE Battle Road Byway)\, then follow THE Byway to Minuteman National Historical Park – North Bridge Visitor Center for a stop and bathroom break. \n  \nContinue along The Battle Road Byway through Concord Center and historic points along the Byway with a detour through Lincoln and Concord passing by Walden Pond and stopping at Cedar Hill Dairy Joy in Weston for lunch. Cash only.
