DESCRIPTION:MYSTERY TRIP \n  \n  \n  \n  \nMEET: Ted’s Package Store 47 Worcester Road (Route 20)\, Charlton\, MA 01508 \nMEETING TIME: 10:00 AM \nA GPS or other navigational device that can be set to non-highway is very helpful. If you are using a phone application\, you must have a navigator. This can also be driven with a good set of maps. \nThe first cars will leave Ted’s at 10:15 AM with the other groups leaving at 10 minute intervals. \nCars will be traveling in small groups of 3 or 4 cars. You will be given turn by turn directions with a number of questions to be answered. All the answers are visible from your car. Groups can work together on the answers. This  allows people without a passenger to participate safely. \nEach group will select a leader. Leaders can be changed at each stop or at other intervals as determined by the group. \nEach section of the ride (start to lunch and lunch to ice cream) should be less than 2 hours so no pit stops have been designated. Pit stops may be taken if needed and at a good location found. \nWe will be having lunch at Ronnie’s Seafood in Charlton\, MA. Groups will eat as they arrive and leave when their entire group is done. Do not wait for everyone to arrive. There is quite a bit of parking but it might get very tight if we are all there together. \nThe trip will end with ice cream of course! \nWe expect to be through with ice cream by 3:30 \nRSVP by August 3rd so I know how many copies of directions I will need to bring. \nbobbaylis@comcast.net    978-660-0146 \n  \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:Annual Membership Appreciation Day & Club Picnic will be held at Colt State Park\, Route 114\, 1070 hope Street Bristol\, Rhode Island. Ice Cream at Paul & Sue’s house after the picnic and swimming too. Bring your suits and towels. \n \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \nAll Mass Miata members and their families are invited to this annual event\, which was started to show the Club’s appreciation to all our members and to thank everyone for their participation & support. \nWe have shelter 2\, a big pavilion next to the chapel with good parking and restrooms nearby. Follow the Mass Miata signs. \nSwimming is available at the Bristol Town Beach. \nAppetizers will be served beginning at 10:30 AM with lunch being served around noontime. \nThe club will be providing the entrees (Hamburger’s and Hot Dogs and rolls).  There is no cost to members to attend this event\, however in an effort to control costs\, the club is asking members to provide appetizers\, salads\, desserts\, condiments\, etc. Please consider contributing one of the following items and letting Brenda Gauvin    activities@massmiata.net  know what you would like to bring. Brenda has kindly volunteered to coordinate the contributions so we have enough of everything. \nAn appetizer: chips & salsa\, pita & hummus\, veggie platter\, cheese & crackers etc. \nA green salad: lettuce\, tomatoes etc. \nA side salad: pasta\, potato \, bean\, cole slaw\, macaroni\, etc \nJuices\, ice tea\, punch etc. \nDesserts \nCondiments: catsup\, mustard\, relish\, salt & pepper\, pickles \n Whether or not you are able to contribute to the pot luck\, please RSVP to Brenda Gauvin by Friday August 10th if you are planning on attending so we’ll know how much food to purchase and prepare.
