Your meal begins soup du jour. Entrees served with vegetable\, potato\, homemade rolls and muffins\, tea/coffee and dessert.\n\nThen end the day at Bright Nights at Forest Park\, a lighting spectacle that features time and color coordinated lighting exhibits. Trees and sculptures are decorated to look like various scenes and characters\, including many from the works of Springfield native Dr. Seuss. Many scenes are animated\, others are simply decorated. One of the spectacles most elaborate exhibits is a replica of Everett Barney’s mansion. Passengers will travel by bus on this 3 mile long meandering path through the park to see the displays. Each year Bright Nights changes and becomes more elaborate. Upon arrival\, one of Bright Nights friendly staff greats every bus with a warm welcome\, program books and a CD of holiday music to enhance the tour.
