We will meet at the Dunks in Lancaster MA\, and follow a twisty back roads route to the Theater. \n \n  \n  \nThe Theater opened in 1885 as a vaudeville venue. In 1912\, the theater exhibited its first silent film\, and by the 1920s was in regular use as a cinema. The Theater continues in operation to this day\, running an eclectic program of independent and classic films. The cinema prides itself on its extra bright projector\, comfortable seating\, and freshly popped popcorn with real butter. \n  \nThe Theater is screening the 2011 feature “The Artist” for the Miata club. Film star George Valentin has it all – fame\, good looks\, adoring fans. He bumps into unknown aspiring actress Peppy Miller\, and takes her on as his protege. But change is coming to the movie business\, that will upend their lives forever.
