DESCRIPTION:October 17-20\, 2022\nGreen Mountain Trek\nTRIP IS NOW FULL\, A WAIT LIST IS AVAILABLE.\n\nEmail Brenda to be put on a wait list: bgauvin@charter.net \nWe will see at least 10 covered bridges on this trip. \nRooms will be held until September 1\, 2022 \nMeeting time and place will be emailed to the people on the trip only. \nDeposit of 50% will be charged in late August. The inn will reconfirm all reservations by email before any deposits are charged. Final payment is due upon arrival. \nPackages cannot be transferred or refunded once booked. \nThe inn does not have a liquor license and does not sell alcohol. but they do have a BYOB-bar fridge\, ice and microwave that is always available for your use. \n \nJoin us on a three night WEEKDAY trip to Southern Vermont. Should be beautiful at this time of the year with all the fall colors. \nWe will stay three nights at the inn. Three night room rate for 2 people in a room is $437.00  Single Occupancy (1 person) is $334.00 which includes 3 hearty country breakfast each morning and one three course meal that includes tax and service. \nRates do not include housekeeping or dinning gratuities. \nBreakfast will be served every morning 8:00 A.M to 9:00 P.M. \nCheck out on Thursday October 20th\, 2022 is at 10:00 A.M. \nDAY ONE Monday October 17\, 2022: We will caravan to Vermont via some very nice roads  having lunch at the 99 restaurant in Greenfield\, MA\nWe will drive over three bridges\, a couple of hairpin turns on our way to Hogback Mountain Country Store for our pit stop\, beautiful vistas\, ice cream\, cheese\, liqueur tastings and shopping. \nThe last trek of the day will be to our inn in Southern Vermont. We will arrive at the inn around 5:45 \nWe will meet at 6:30 in the bar area for snacks\, drinks and socializing. Please bring your own snacks for sharing and whatever you want to drink. \nI will bring plates and napkins. \nDAY TWO Tuesday October 18\, 2022: we will see the Bennington Battle Monument\, 4 covered bridges\, drive up Mount Equinox Skyline have lunch and drive back to the inn arriving around 4:30 P.M.  Dinner is on your own tonight. \nDAY THREE Wednesday October 19\, 2922: We will drive over three covered bridges\, visit a cheese shop\, have a light lunch at The Vermont Country Deli and drive back to the inn around 3:00: P.M. OUR GROUP DINNER will be tonight at 6:00 P.M. at the inn. 3 course meal soup\, salad. 2 main courses and dessert. BYOB to dinner if you want.  The Vermont Country Deli has a bakery\, ice cream\, build your own sandwiches\, hot soups\, cooked items and a store full of snack and gifts. \nDAY FOUR Thursday October 20\, 2022:  We will have a two hour + drive to Norman Rockwell Museum. We should arrive around NOON. YOU MUST RESERVE YOUR TICKETS ON LINE BEFORE ARRIVAL. Lunch on your own. They do have a cafe.
