DESCRIPTION:Our ride will start from the Market Basket parking lot at 147 Tower Road\, Athol\, MA.\nWe will meet at 9 AM.\nHave a driver’s meeting at 9:15 A.M.\nThe first group will depart at 9:30 A.M.\nThe trip is 48 miles and will take about 1 hour and 15 minutes.\nIncluded in the ride is the Dummerston Covered Bridge.\n\nReply to David Hatch at email:  dhatch6354@aol.com\nPlease include your cell phone number and indicate if you have a CB radio.\nI will need some volunteers to Lead and Chase for additional groups.  There is no car limit unless I can’t get volunteers\, then I will just make the route instructions available for self guided tour.\nFor over 50 years\, the Town of Dummerston\, VT has hosted the Apple Pie Festival.  They spend close to two weeks\nbaking 1200 plus apple pies for the event.\nThey setup a tent beside the church with slices of apple pie\, homemade ice cream\, fresh donuts\, hot cider  and Grafton Village cheddar cheese.\nAs the tables of pie slices start to deplete\, another table loaded with slices of apple pie emerges from the church basement.\n\nIn front of the church\, you can purchase whole pies and blocks of the Grafton Village cheddar cheese to take home.\nThis is a great Fall event.
