DESCRIPTION:August 21 @ 10:00 am – 3:00 P.M.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSign up anytime before August 18\, 2022\nTO SIGN UP EMAIL:  bgauvin@charter.net\n VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED TO SERVE FOOD.\n\n\nALL ARE WELCOMED\,\n\n\n\n\n\nColt state park has beautiful ocean views and there is always a nice sea breeze. Annual Membership Appreciation Day & Club Picnic will be held at Colt State Park\, Route 114\, 1070 hope Street Bristol\, Rhode Island. \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \nAll Mass Miata members and their families are invited to attend this annual event\, which was started to show the Club’s appreciation to all our members and to thank everyone for their participation & support. \nWe have shelter 2. This is the large facility with parking and restroom near by. Follow the Mass Miata signs that Paul Trout sets up. Thank You Paul. \nTHIS YEAR WILL BE POT LUCK LIKE IT HAS BEEN IN THE PAST\, BUT NO ONE WILL BE ABLE TO SERVE THEMSELVES. THERE WILL BE MEMBERS WEARING GLOVES AND THEY WILL BE VERY HAPPY TO SERVE YOU. PLEASE BE PATIENT! WE WANT EVERYONE TO FEEL COMFORTABLE IN OUR EFFORTS TO HOLD THIS EVENT AND GET TOGETHER. \nAppetizers will be served beginning at 10:30 AM with lunch being served around noontime. \nThe club will be providing the entrees (Hamburgers \, Hot Dogs and rolls\, Sausage or Kielbasa cooked on the grill).  There is no cost to members to attend this event\, however in an effort to control costs\, the club is asking members to provide appetizers\, salads\, desserts\, condiments\, etc. Please consider contributing one of the following items and letting Brenda at bgauvin@charter.net   know you will be attending the picnic. Brenda has kindly volunteered to coordinate the contributions so we have enough of everything. \nWE ALWAYS HAVE TOO MUCH FOOD SO CONSIDER MAKING A DONATION TO YOUR LOCAL FOOD BANK. Do not bring the donations to the event. \nAn appetizer: chips & salsa\, pita & hummus\, veggie platter\, cheese & crackers\, fruit & dip etc. \nA green salad: lettuce\, tomatoes etc. \nA side salad: pasta\, potato \, bean\, cole slaw\, macaroni\, etc \nIndividual can/bottles of Juices\, ice tea\, punch\, water\, canned soda\,etc \nIndividual bags of chips \nOnions sliced & diced. \nCondiments: Ketchup\, mustard\, mayo\, relish (sweet and hot) \nSalt & pepper\, pickles \n “For the safety of all\, we are asking all unvaccinated individuals to wear a mask” \n Please RSVP to Brenda G by August 16th if you are planning on attending so we’ll know how much food to purchase and prepare.
